Ekomobong, an undergraduate student of Electrical/Electronics Engineering at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, built the tricycle for his final year project.
The tricycle boasts of no engine and is outfitted with battery and solar panels arranged on the roof. According to his elder brother, Aniekeme, the tricycle can travel up to 11km without needing a recharge.
I celebrate this young man's hardwork and achievement. Although the cost of this project is unknown yet, I believe is priceless to him.
When I see such brain in Nigeria, It is right that the country explore his intellect and find ways of providing an avenue for him to do more.
He doesn't need a white collar job, where he will seat around but a workshop that can spark his imagination into results that the nation can be proud of.
Finnar is the future of Nigeria and should be given all the resources to do more in Nigeria.
