ARE YOU EMPLOYABLE?

Nigerian Youths I greet ooo!

So I've heard some of us complaining about the government not providing enough jobs, Yes! they haven't done that yet. But make I ask? How many Youths are Employable? and if you are hiring, will you hire yourself?

If yes, then get yourself 5 times more employable than you were 5 months ago because there is competiton out there  and people are equipping themselves daily.

But if no, the Good-news is that is not too late for you, first, you need to know the 21st century skills which are summarized in the "5 C's" - Critical thinking, Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, and Cross-cultural appreciation.

The above 5 C's are just summary of what you should have as a person, sometimes might come with certificate to prove the authenticity because of some unique people that can fabricate things up and pile up 10 pages of CV.

It is very important that we appreciate the technology that is available to us and create something for ourselves.

It is NOT unfortunate that currently that we can't say this is what we have produced from the  few of us that are gifted and extraordinary. the truth is that the big names we know today had their government support both financially and otherwise.

Surprisingly, Our government have some platform where they've shown interest in assisting the great inventors  and your great idea that is achievable and long-lasting. Some of their approach are the program for NYSC members, asking for business ideas that are outstanding so they can assist, also they went further to SME ( small and medium enterprise) another opportunity to come and sell yourself, your idea and why your business will work rather than 10 thousand ideas and plans already received.

Until we start taking advantage of every opportunity whether big or small, we might not get anyway.

Forget your friends for a day, forget about that party for tonight, forget that ceremony for just today and start writing that ideas you have - turn it into a business idea, then write a business proposal.

Without even having anyone to give it to, write it as if you are going to see the President of America (if that's who you prefer than our own Buu Buu) be serious, plan your presentation and make sure your future challenges are pointed out and how you hope to conquer them.

Once you are through, go straight to google if you don't have any info about where and how to go about submitting your business proposal and search for seminars, platforms that are available and start attending.

Never start a business because of money, start because of the satisfaction you will get each time you see that business growing, knowing you are changing lives.

Even if you don't have someone to accept your business ideas and assist, you are ready for any job and will get that your dream.

Why; because you've done exactly what that manager that will employ you does and assign people to do. You've proven to yourself capable and diligent enough to take up a task and see it through.
